Welcome and thank you for visiting photo by JIM SHANE.

This has become a fairly large site with, probably, too many images. Certainly a lot more than anyone would want to see in one sitting. Let me suggest you start by selecting "Image Galleries" from the menu bar found at the top of every page. If this is your first visit, I suggest you select the "Award Winning Image Galleries". The photos there will give you a good idea of the types of photos I probably do the best job with. That first gallery visit should help you select where you would like to go next. Each of the thumbnails on the "Image Galleries" page will take you to a themed selection of images, or additional gallery choices. Once you select a gallery page you can watch a "slideshow" (box in upper right corner) of all images in the gallery, or you can select individual images in the gallery for viewing.
If you would like to look a bit deeper into the Award Winning Images and learn what awards each image earned, plus a short description of what is going on in the photo, check out the "Image Award Stories" from the header menu.

There are some very interesting (I believe) stories in the "True Life Photo Stories" section and they can only be accessed by using the link in the menu bar at the top of every page. There is not a link in the "Image Galleries" section.

I hope you enjoy your visit.

Jim Shane
