Every year thousands of Snow Geese migrate through Idaho. One of their favorite resting/feeding stops is Roswell Slough, which is close to my home. My first visit to the slough during migration was a mind expanding experience. Imagine a flock of over 10,000 geese (I'm not sure, but that's when I quit counting) tightly packed on this small slough taking flight at the same. The sights and sounds seem like being in the eye of a hurricane. So, I took a lot of pictures of Snow Geese. A lot of them look the same because 99.9 % of Snow Geese look alike. (Only their moms can tell them apart) So this is a gallery dedicated to Snow Geese. and I tried to include some variety without needing to put name tags on them.
