Birds in general, are beautiful creatures, and many ducks, specifically, are stunning. To truly appreciate the beauty of ducks, a person needs to get close enough to them to see how light plays off the feathers. There are briliantly radiant feathers, and there some amazingly pure colors. But it is hard to get close to wild ducks. So, I bought a telephto lens. I hope I got close enough getting these images to motivate you to get out to a park with a pond, or somewhere even wilder, to get an up close amd personal experience with wild ducks.
